Our Story
Snowfall Childcare is a faith-led, family-centered nanny placement agency built on a legacy of love and service that spans five generations. Co-founded by mother-daughter team C’ne Guilbeaux and Hope Malveaux, our story began in Houston, where generations of women in our family served as nannies and caregivers with dedication, grace, and Christ-like compassion.
The name Snowfall honors our matriarch, Gussie B. Boone — affectionately called “Snow” — who was born during a rare Houston snowstorm in 1940. On what would have been her 85th birthday, just a month after her passing, Houston saw snow again — a divine confirmation that this work is part of our calling and our legacy.
With C’ne’s heart for childcare and Hope’s expertise in human resources, we created an agency that blends professional excellence with deeply personal care. Every placement is guided by our commitment to Jesus Christ and our belief that children flourish when they are loved, supported, and raised with strong values.
Today, Snowfall Childcare has grown into a holistic childcare company serving families, events, and caregivers alike. Through our Nanny placement services, we partner with families nationwide to provide intentional, values-aligned care. Through our Event childcare services, offered exclusively in the Houston area, we support weddings, corporate gatherings, and special events with elevated, trustworthy childcare. And through the Snowfall Career Nanny Academy, we invest in the next generation of caregivers by providing professional development, training, and community.
